Living a sustainable life can be challenging. For many of us, living outside of a major city alone can be challenging. The shift from what many of us are accustomed to on a daily basis to a way of living without major excess can be a difficult transition. It is time to take full responsibility for your self. It is time to take responsibility for the consequences of your way of life…
The Challenge –
Our Challenge to you is simple. Better your self and better your way of life. There are a small percent of people out there doing what they want, when they want. They have begun to master the art of their own personal freedom. They are almost there. The transition that they’ll make to a resilient community will be a simple and pleasurable one. It will be a welcome change. For those of you that are stuck within a dead paradigm, this transition will be somewhat of a daunting challenge. If you’ve dedicated your life to “making ends meet” than that is likely all you’ll ever gain. You reap what you sow. This new way of life may look somewhat challenging – but it is not. Things that you enjoy doing come much easier that things you don’t. We know where the world is going. The world is heading towards the need for closely knit communities and locally sourced goods and services. This is something that has been addressed in the Playa Crystal Resilient Tropical Community. We challenge you to flourish in a community where the community itself is important. You will be surrounded by like minded people, each and every one is there because they share a common goal.
You will be living in a way that will change your life for the better. You will have access to natural food. Not only will you have access this natural food such as free range chickens and cattle, an abundance of fruits and vegetables, fresh seafood, but because we are in the Dominican Republic you will have access to this food all year-round. You will be living free of the stresses that your “every day life” has laid upon you in the past.
We will be taking full advantage of what nature has to provide. Again, this is an area of abundance. Our caretakers will be handling all the operations within the community. They are a Dominican staff and they know this land like the back of their hand. From water to energy to food and even some building materials all will be provided by our planet. As you continue to peruse this website you will find out how we do what we are doing, why we are doing what we are doing, and how you can be invited to become part of our community.
